Marble Runs!

Inspired by our play at the Museum of Science, we sought out to create our own marble run at home. Using tubes and colored tape, we spent an hour getting it just right! As designers and engineers, we hypothesized, experimented, revised, and repeated that process over and over. What a fun project with recycled materials exploring gravity, angles, acceleration, and speed!

A few weeks later, we loved the room at the Discovery Museum in Acton, surrounded by tubes, bells, and balls. We noticed the angles and which balls seem to roll faster than others. Our kids began thinking and talking a lot about these introductory concepts of physics... I'm excited to see where these conversations it take us next!
